Analogue video feedback installation
We are interaction designers and video artists working with CRT television, sensors and cameras to create interactive installation art.
We make playful, exploratory pieces that touch on themes such as nostalgia, memory and time with regard to human relationships with technology and media.
We are proposing using three CRT televisions in conjunction with mirrors and a webcam to allow viewers to see their own faces reflected back at them with an analogue feedback effect.
Ideally, this would be placed in a corridor, junction, or other circulatory location on site. We do not require any budget or payment, and can bring our own pedestals or equivalent rigging structure if necessary.
The TVs in question are 13-15” in size. If space is a concern, or there is a preference for this to be either smaller or larger in scale, we can swap out different sized TVs or use only one TV, instead of three.
